Former Ben-Gals Reunite!

I am sitting at dinner the other night at Behle Street Cafe in Kentucky with three of my best friends (and former Ben-Gal teammates) - Michelle, Hazel and Tara. It had been Christmas since we formally got together to catch up as a group. As we are sharing stories of vacations, babies, married & single life, etc. the topic moves to what else? Cheerleading and "the good 'ole days" of Ben-Gals! Together we thought, wouldn't it be great if we had a way to reconnect with our former teammates and have all of us stay in touch?!? And so, the Cincinnati Ben-Gal Cheerleader Alumni Blog was born!

Surprisingly, there are hundreds of Ben-Gals out there that have had the unique opportunity and privilege to be an NFL Cheerleader! We want to hear from you! Send us your name and year(s) cheered, your Ben-Gal photos, your announcements - birthdays, weddings, births, achievements and we'll post what you want to the blog. We want to make it fun and easy to see and keep up with other former Ben-Gals!

We envision this blog to be the starting place to building an incredible network of wonderful and talented women. Share this blog with someone you know - every time I tell someone that I was a Ben-Gal, 9 times out of 10 I always hear "I know a Ben-Gal, too! Do you know Susie Q or So&So?" A couple of "housekeeping items" that you may be wondering about regarding the blog.

First, privacy. We will post first names of former members only (unless linked/referenced in a news article or permission by the individual is given to us). No personal information will be given out and email messages cannot be forwarded to Alumni. Also, if you wish to post anonymously, you may do so.

Second, submitting information. Your comments and input are welcome here! Please note: this blog is a PRO-Ben-Gal alumni site. Information, photos/images, or material that reflects negatively on the individuals and/or negative discussions will not be posted. We want to promote a positive image of former members.

Finally, validity. The Cincinnati Ben-Gal Cheerleader Alumni blog will initially be utilizing the "honor system" as to the validity of the members of this site. We welcome all former cheerleaders that participated in the Ben-Gal organization, whether it be in a titled role (such as Captain, Side-Captain, etc.) or members who held an alternate status. Since members span several years and seasons, the alumni will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the group. Kindly inform the administrator of any members that you believe are in question.
