Carol writes in to share some exciting news! She is head coach for her daughter, Kelsey's, cheerleading squad this year. The squad has been practicing for about a month and just participated in their first competition of the year at the Clermont County Fair!
The squad was in the Pee-Wee Division which consisted of 6-11 yr. olds. The squad is made up of 7 and 8 yr. olds. There were 7 teams total. Each squad had to perform 2 cheers and a dance routine. Carol's girls won FIRST PLACE!!!! After winning, the girls had an evening performance at the grand stands and then received their 1st place trophy along with a check for $100!Good formation, girls!
